This space is an extension of the work I do every day as an educator, exercise physiologist, and coach. My goal is simple: to make evidence-based information understandable and useful for real people living real lives!
You’ll find a mix of content here. Some educational posts grounded in research, reflections from my classroom and coaching, conversations sparked by my clients, and an occasional personal story when it adds depth or honesty to a topic. I’ll share what I teach, what I learn, what I’m questioning, and what I see helping people the most.
Expect topics like:
- breaking down exercise physiology concepts in plain language (e.g., why tempo matters, what recovery actually means, how stress hormones impact training),
- practical training frameworks you can apply right away,
- discussions sparked by real questions from clients and students,
- evidence-based explanations of myths or confusing trends circulating online, and
- posts that connect science with everyday life so it actually sticks.
I’m doing this because I believe everyone deserves access to clear, trustworthy information about their health and movement. Educational equity matters to me. Knowledge shouldn’t be gatekept or limited to classrooms or coaching sessions. The tools that help people live fuller, healthier lives should be shared widely, and this blog is one way I can contribute to that.
If you’re someone who values clarity, science, and practical guidance (with a little humanity woven in), you’re in the right place. My hope is that these posts give you something to think about, something to try, or simply a sense that you’re not figuring all of this out alone.
Welcome in. I’m glad you’re here! 🙂
